International tourism to our country and city picked up in the past two months, as our major source market countries Germany, the UK and the USA lifted their travel bans to visitors from South Africa.
The Curfew regulation was cancelled on 30 December, and this gave a tremendous boost to locals, and to the hospitality industry, allowing restaurants to remain open after midnight on New Year’s Eve. We are grateful to our newkings guests who celebrated the Festive Season by staying at our hotel, enjoying the highlights of Cape Town. Thank you to the newkings team for its hard work in reaching our Reservations target in December.
